World Water Day Campaign

Producer & Creative Director — World Water Day Campaign

Around the world, 785 million people still lack access to safe, clean drinking water, creating widespread challenges for health, education, and economic opportunity. The World Water Day Campaign was created to help students better understand the global water crisis while empowering them to take simple actions that could directly support communities in need.

In partnership with The Thirst Project, the campaign challenged students to raise $25 — enough to provide one person with access to clean water for a year. To make participation accessible and creative, students could choose from three pledge challenges:

  • Get Your Side Hustle On — Start or dedicate an existing side hustle and direct the earnings toward building freshwater wells.

  • Ditch Your Drink — Skip purchases like coffee, matcha, or boba and donate the money instead to help fund clean water access.

  • Phone A Friend — Reach out to five friends or family members and raise $25 together to give someone clean water for life.

In my role as Producer and Creative Director, I shaped the campaign’s creative direction and storytelling, coordinated the production of campaign content and digital assets, and led the rollout across social and marketing channels to encourage student participation and amplify awareness around the water crisis.

Campaign Impact

  • 3,100+ people gained access to clean water for one year

  • 3 MILLION+ people reached across social and marketing platforms
