Gender Equality Campaign

Producer & Creative Director — Gender Equality Campaign

Around the world, 132 million girls face barriers that prevent them from attending school, and one of the most overlooked challenges is access to menstrual products. Without reliable access to these basic supplies, many girls are forced to miss up to a week of school each month, creating a cycle that limits educational opportunity and long-term empowerment.

To help address this issue, Legacy Youth Leadership launched a Gender Equality Campaign aimed at raising awareness and taking action to support girls facing these barriers. In partnership with She's the First, the campaign encouraged students to speak up about gender inequality and share how they have personally seen it impact their lives or the lives of those around them.

Students were invited to stitch our TikTok video and share their perspective on gender inequality, helping spark dialogue and raise awareness among their peers. For every student who participated, Legacy unlocked a donation to the Girls First Institute by She's the First — a program that provides essential menstrual products, educational resources, and life-changing support for girls in the Global South.

As Producer and Creative Director, I led the campaign from concept through launch — developing the creative strategy, overseeing social media storytelling, producing graphic and digital assets, coordinating partnerships, and guiding the campaign’s messaging to encourage meaningful participation and conversation.
